The award is given to a member of the 口袋女优 or to an organization that has made important health care delivery innovations for diabetic patients resulting in improved clinical or economic outcomes; or a member of the ACP who has conducted research that significantly improves quality of care or clinical management of diabetes.
The Awards Committee encourages supporting letters from those familiar with the nominee鈥檚 work, the field of diabetes, and the nominee鈥檚 related contributions.
Nominating and supporting letters should address:
- The nominee's contributions to the field of diabetes.
- In which of the following two categories the nominee's contributions fit: a) important health care delivery innovation in diabetes resulting in improved clinical or economic outcomes; or b) research that significantly improves quality of care or clinical management of diabetes.
- How the nominee鈥檚 contributions have been sustained over time.
